This is Darwin, and he's for the Engines On A Mission Contest hosted by :iconJamesFan1991:

Bio: Darwin was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1902 and was in a series of 2-8-0's, known as Consolidations, for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad. He mostly worked on freight, but did passenger trains from time to time and was great friends with the D&RG narrow gauge engines. In 1924, he was renumbered from 1115 to 1015 and reclassified from a 190 class to a C-41, the C representing the type of locomotive, the Consolidation, and 41 for 41,000 horsepower when the D&RGW took over the D&RG. In the late 40's as his class was becoming obsolete for new locomotives and diesels, he was retired from service in 1947 and thought he was heading for the cutters torch, thankfully though, a wealthy old gentleman came and bought Darwin from the scrap line in March of 19
